LCG and Republic Services Debris Drop-Off Day is March 5 | News
LAFAYETTE, LA – Residents of Lafayette Parish can take advantage of Lafayette Consolidated Government (LCG) and Republic Services Debris Drop-off Day to dispose of household waste. It’s a chance to get rid of items that aren’t usually picked up curbside or can’t fit in a cart.
LCG continues its partnership with Bike Lafayette, a non-profit association that collects old bicycles to rebuild them. Repaired bikes will be donated to children and adults in need.
Debris drop-off day is March 5, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. to noon
Locations: Brown Park – 1234 E. Pont Des Mouton Road
Robicheaux Center – 1919 Eraste Landry Road
Items accepted:
Old tires, wood and metal, home and garden furniture, appliances, carpet and upholstery, car parts and other construction debris. There is a limit of five tires per person.
Small waste, such as old clothes, toys, flower pots and other items should be placed in a bag or box.
Larger items such as old bicycles, barbecues and steel mounting posts for basketball backboards will also be accepted.

This event is for residents residing in unincorporated areas of Lafayette Parish and the City of Lafayette. Residents must be prepared to help unload all items. Driving licenses will be checked. Business waste will not be accepted.
